Montgomery County Teen Senate Program
Empowering the Next Generation of Community Leaders
Teen Senate is a program for Montgomery County high school students who are passionate about helping their communities by learning about public health, engaging in community service projects, honing public speaking skills, and connecting with teens around the county.
Our Mission
To equip Montgomery County adolescents with the skills and support to become informed, compassionate leaders who promote health, prevent substance misuse and gambling-related harm, strengthen mental wellness, and create lasting positive change through education, advocacy, and community service.
Teen Senate is for any Montgomery County area high school student with an interest in:

Students can nominate themselves to participate, and educators and school staff can nominate students who may benefit from or contribute to the program.

What Teen Senate Offers
Education & Prevention
Students engage with evidence-based information on topics affecting teens, including alcohol, nicotine, cannabis, gambling, mental health, and other emerging concerns.
College & Career Readiness
Programming supports students beyond prevention education through college and career exploration, professional skill-building, networking, and preparation for future opportunities.
Resources for Families & Educators
Families, educators, and school communities can access prevention education, webinars, school programming, and resources to better understand current trends and support healthy decision-making among teens.
