Prevention Specialist

Before relocating overseas, he served as a licensed Substance Abuse Counselor at an inpatient treatment facility in central Wisconsin, USA. Drawing from over a decade of his own recovery from substance abuse, Kevin shares his personal journey in the classroom to
instill the significance of making healthy choices among young students. His talent for quickly connecting with students fosters a substance use prevention education experience that is rich in thought-provoking discussions, engaging activities, humor, and inclusivity,
allowing students from all backgrounds to form meaningful connections with the curriculum
he delivers.

Since beginning his role as a prevention specialist in 2022, Kevin has actively supported parents, teachers, and school administrators in identifying early warning signs of substance misuse and implementing effective, evidence-based intervention strategies. With a strong
focus on cultural sensitivity and the diverse needs of communities, he has empowered educational institutions across numerous schools worldwide with the resources necessary to promote the well-being of their students and broader communities.

Outside of work, Kevin enjoys traveling with his wife and 3 year-old daughter, as well as everything related to football (soccer). He also loves playing golf, cooking, and exploring the finest coffee shops and bakeries around the globe.
