Katie Greeley

Founder & Senior Prevention Consultant

Katie Greeley, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC), is the founder of Prevention Ed, established in 2018.

With a Master of Social Work from the University of Chicago and advanced training through the Alcohol and Other Drug Training Program, Katie brings over a decade of expertise in substance use prevention and clinical services.

She previously served on the founding team of the Substance Use and Prevention Program (SUPP) within the Division of Adolescent Medicine at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital in Chicago.

During her 10-year tenure with Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation and FCD Prevention Works, Katie developed and applied her expertise, delivering evidence-based prevention education in schools across the United States and in over 40+ countries worldwide.

As an individual in healthy recovery from addiction, Katie combines her clinical experience, research, and prevention training to deliver age-appropriate, impactful curricula that empower students, educators, and communities to make informed, healthy decisions.
