Stacey Wisniewski
Senior Prevention Specialist and Program Manager
After earning her B.A. and M.A. in English from Arcadia University, Stacey stumbled into public health in 2016 and found her place in prevention at FCD Prevention Works, learning alongside Katie Greeley. Stacey discovered a passion for supporting teens and uplifting communities through comprehensive prevention education, data-informed community planning, and peer leadership models. Stacey has worked with school communities across the United States and the world, presenting with empathy, humor, and stories about her dog, Kip.
Stacey has worked as a prevention specialist, supervisor, mentor, and program manager (sometimes at the same time!), bringing a wide array of experience and knowledge to Prevention Ed. In addition to working with public and private schools, she has worked with colleges and universities and on state-wide grant-funded projects. She has also educated and trained families, teens, and public health and counseling professionals through conferences, webinars, and e-journals. She is very proud to have a digital trail of prevention talks and trainings all over the internet. One of her main focuses in education and consultation is addressing the social determinants of health and building tangible, data-based plans for communities to achieve change.
Prevention is for everyone, and she wants to support every child in having the knowledge, tools, and supportive, educated adults in their lives that they need to build a lifetime of health and wellness.
