Luna Gayeski
Prevention Specialist and Program Manager
Luna Gayeski is a Master's candidate at the Bryn Mawr Graduate School of Social Work and Social Research and an alumni of Drexel University’s Behavioral Health Counseling program. Their personal experience as an individual in healthy recovery drives their passion for prevention education.
Luna has spent years developing innovative and empowering environments for youth as a summer Camp Director at the Rowe Center. At The Mazzoni Center in Philadelphia, they worked as an HIV Medical Case Manager, honing clinical skills and conducting behavioral interventions with individuals in high-risk environments. Facilitating and managing a nationwide Peer Support Group Program at Plume, Luna became an expert in the art of facilitating productive groups and active listening.
While serving as Program Manager behind the scenes, Luna has brought their student-driven pedagogy to multiple continents as a Prevention Specialist – making sure to track down the best vegetarian buffets and skateparks in their travels..
